I think even with all the cancer stuff going on the kids have had a good summer vacation. It has been so busy around here. Surgery, week with both grandma's, free moives, swim lessons, swiming in our pool, sliding done the water slide, music at the library, reptileman, golf, basketball camp, baseball camp, birthday parties, ward 24th of July celebration, lots of extra kids, cleaning house, mowing lawn(cole), movies, doctors appointments, ice blocking, hiking, riding city bus, allied art show, baptism, boating, sleep overs, free lunch in the park.
I keep thinking I am going to get better at this journaling thing but it is harder than I think it will be. It shouldn't be hard to get on everyday and write just a little but I seem to forgot or I am to tired by the end of the night to blog.
Carter has been sick for a week. Last week he started rolling around on the ground complaining of pain in his stomach. So last Thursday I took him to Dr. Kenzie. She said he had a urinary track infection. Who knew boys could even get those. I geuss with the allergy to milk which causes his immune system to go down and all the peeing outside with dirty hands she thinks is the cause. Anyway we have been giving him the meds but the pain seems to continue. During the day he seems fine and then at night he rolls around and cries for a few hours. Usually the hours of midnight to 3 or 4 am. Then by morning he seems fine again. So yesterday we finally gave him a blessing and then had a prayer and he seems to be getting better and only two little 5 minutes complaining of pain. So I think we are on the mends. It is so hard to watch him be in so much pain.

I took the kids ice blocking this last week we had a good time. Just when it was time to go they all the sudden wanted to ice block.

Kamden had so much fun and really got the hang of it fast. She went down more time in the first 20 minutes than anyone else.

Alexis, we had her all week. It was fun to have her all week.

Cole at the end was having a good time running into his friend and having me catch it on camera.

This is a picture of all of us but Alexis.

This is me. I am so heavy now I went flying down the hill and went twice as far as the kids. I couldn't stop laughing. We had a good time. It was just a little tiring to walk up the hill. I could only do it a handful of times.

Cayon
Warning. There are lots of pictures from our family walk in the cayon. I got them all out of order. I just couldn't resist putting up all the fun pictures we took.

Picture of Cole in the weeds

Cole on the rope swing

When we were done everyone washed there feet in the creek.

Kamden and Cole playing on the toy after the walk.

Carter on the toy.

Cole jumping across the creek.

The is a picture of the three kids together.

Carter wanted to pose for the camera.

Kamden doing a pose for the camera.

There is a rope swing now down in the canyon we could hardly get them away from it.

Last Saturday we decided to go down to the canyon. I remember spend alot of time down there when I was a kid. It doesn't even look the same. Anyway we took the kids down to walk through. Ryan had never been down there with us. We have gone the last two spring breaks. This is a picture of Ryan and the kids crossing the bridge of the creek. The begin of the walk.

This is a picture of the three kids looking at the creek.

This is Cole and Kamden climbing up under the over pass.

Cole was jumping over the creek and Kamden wanted too. So Ryan jumped across with Kamden and the next picture is of Ryan and Carter jumping across.

To Long Again!
The week mom and dad and Dennis and Melanie kept the kids we meet up with the kids down at the park. We spent a couple of hours with them. Kamden and Carter cut there feet. Kamden's was crying so hard and once you wiped the blood away you couldn't even hardly see the cut.
While the kids were at Dennis and Melanie's we went to Applebees with our family. This is Kendall and the twins. They were so good at the Restaurant.
This is a picture the first Sunday after surgery. Darci Ryan's sister had her baby blessed. Ryan was able to stand in.
The first night the kids were back home we decided for family home evening to make cinnamon rolls. I don't think I have ever made them. I think I helped mom when I was younger but not since I have been married and not by myself. The kids had so much fun helping and most of all cutting with the floss.
O.k. so you can tell that it is my first time making cinnamon rolls.
