Well last minute on Friday we decided to go to Kellog Idaho where Ryan was working. We left at 1:30 so we didn't get there until 4:30 on Friday. The kids did a great job traveling with just mom all that way. When we got there we went to dinner with Ryan. As soon as we sat down Carter throw up. Luckily the motel was attached to the restaurant. So I went right up to the room and gave him a bath and changed his clothes and we went back down and had dinner. Carter ate restaurant fries and a little bit of his cheese sandwich. He kept it down so we thought maybe it was his teeth or ear ache or maybe even the windy roads. Anyway after dinner we went back to the room and hang out watch some TV and went to bed. About 1 or so Carter woke up screaming and I couldn't get him to stop. After about 15 minutes he just stopped. Then I tried to go back to sleep and about 2 Kamden throw up. So then Ryan and I tried to go back to sleep then about a quarter to 3 or so Kamden woke up again throwing up. Poor Ryan he had to get up at 3 so he got up to go to work. I bet he was wishing we hadn't come up so he could have gotten better sleep. The kids then decided to get up at 6:45. It doesn't seem to matter when I put them to bed they still get up early. Anyway we went to McDonald's for breakfast and Carter ate a lot and kept it down, Kamden ate pretty well and kept it down so them seem to be doing better. We hung out until Ryan got off work at 11:30. We then decided to stay in Kellog and go on a gondola(?) ride. It is I can't remember the largest in the world or the u.s. Anyway it is a 20 minute ride up the mountain. We got up there and they had a bounce house and a play area and Frisbee golf. Then we took 2 different chair lifts further up the mountain to a fire look out. It was so pretty up there. I enjoyed it a lot but Carter was with Ryan on the last chair lift and his ears started to really hurt. I am sure even more because of an ear infection. Anyway Ryan didn't have anything because I was behind him with the diaper bag. That was silly. We then took the chair lifts back to the lodge and had lunch and the kids played again for awhile. During lunch Carter throw up again. Luckily I had brought an extra pair of clothes and we had wet wipes. I don't know what people did before wet wipes. Boy we use those for everything. So when we got down the mountain we went to check on the last of the guys on the job and then looked at two jobs in Spokane before we headed home. We stopped in Cour d lane to have ice cream and just before we pulled into the drive through Carter throw up again and had a blow out all over. Luckily we had wet wipes again we cleaned up the mess with them. I smelled the whole way home but at least everything was clean. So we were glad to be home. I think Carter was the happiest of all.
We made it through the night with no throwing up. Carter still doesn't look very good and now Cole says he isn't feeling well. So I am staying home durning the first part of church and then Ryan will be home so I can go teach my class.
One of the counselor in the bishopric stopped by this morning to extend me a new calling. They want me to teach in Relief Society (teaching for our times). Of course yesterday on the way home Ryan and I read an article in the ensign about callings and excepting them. So if there is one calling I never wanted this is the second worst. The first of course being Sunday school for the adults. When I was in the Relief Society presidency this was the hardest part of the calling. My neck would stiffen up and I couldn't move and I would be sick after I was done. So this should be really fun and how do you say a good experience RIGHT????
