Well, it is summer. Summer for us is so busy. It seems to be busier than the school year and less structure. But we have been having a good time. One day the pool had to be dump out and refilled so we got the kids a slip and slid. They loved it but I don't like how it messes up the grass and kills it.

We took Kamden back to the eye doctor for her follow up visit. The doctor said the prescription is prefect that they don't have to change it. She doesn't have to be patched but runs the risk of having to be patched until she is about 7 or 8. She will have to have check ups every 6 months. Everything check out really well. What a blessing. What she has can't be corrected by surgry only by glasses. Good for us cheaper maybe not so good for her. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

We had a nice 4th of July. We tried to have some friends over but everyone seems to be busy. So we just hang out as a family. We went swimming all day and went to the park for a little bit and then back home for a BBQ, homemade ice cream and then to watch the fireworks. The kids loved them. Well Kamden liked them until about half way through and then she thought they were going to fall on her. We went to watch them at the baseball field. We sat out side the baseball staduim but she still thought they were going to rain down on her.

The last few pictures are of our trip to Omak. We went with Ryan(his work) to Omak. The kids and I had a great time. We just hang out at the park in the morning and the pool in the afternoon until Ryan got home. It was nice no cooking or cleaning or worries. I could just hang out with the kids. Ryan had to be to work each mornin at 2 so we all had to go to bed early every night. The kids did really well with going to bed and being very quite so Ryan could sleep. We were gone for almost a week. The last picture is of Carter on the car ride home. I gave him a pretzle that was white chocolate cover and had blue and red drip through the white chocolate. He had done really well with them but this one he decided to suck on and then rubbed it all over his face.
