O.k. I am just now having time to update since everything deleted the other morning. We had a fun filled weekend. Ryan and I went to the temple with some friends and then out to P.F. Chang's. This is the second time I have been there but it was Ryan's first time. We had the lettuce wraps which we both thought were really good. We all order something and shared. I have to say that I haven't tried anything there that I didn't like. They have great food. We were out until 11pm so Dennis and Melanie kept the kids over night for us. That was really nice of them and the kids had a really good time. They even went to bed for grandma and grandpa.
Then on Saturday morning we went out to breakfast with Dennis and Melanie and the kids. Carter got a spiderman bike from Grandpa and Grandma Bassett. After breakfast Ryan change 5 flat tires for this week we are taking a family bike ride. While Kamden, Carter and I cleaned up the flower bed around the tree. And the kids round their bikes. For lunch we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's for Carter's birthday. They had a great time I didn't enjoy all the people. Ryan and I looked at each other half way through and said this probably isn't the best place for me to be. It worked out. After Chuck E. Cheese's we headed back over to the house for a family birthday party. We had a spiderman birthday cake and theme for Carter. He has been asking for a spiderman party for a few months now. He seem to enjoy his party and I love any good reason to eat Costco cake. Mom was kind and watched Kamden and Carter so we could give Cole his SEX talk. It went really well. Cole started out nervous but loosened up and even asked quite a few questions. I think it went really well and so did Ryan. He wasn't so sure at first but it all worked out well.
Sunday was such a nice and relaxing day. We had breakfast at Dennis and Melanie's and watched the morning session of conference. We then went over to mom and dad's for the second session and for lunch/dinner. We had a BBQ. I love hamburgers. I had just been thinking how I couldn't wait for Hamburger season. Anyway I enjoyed listening to our new prophet and all the other talks. I loved that they talked about basic things and how important they are. I am looking forward to reading and studying the talks that were given.
