Here are the Pictures!

To long!

I tried to upload some pictures and it would let me so I will try to do another posting and post some pictures.

It has been to long since I have posted. First it was because I didn't have any pictures and then it was because there was so much to catch you up on and it was going to take awhile. So I just spent the last hour posting and it didn't save. It said I wasn't logged in so I guess I will start over. Boy the first week of summer was pretty uneventful. It rained here most of the week and was cooler. We spent most of the week just trying to get a routine down. Cole has picked up a lot more chores this summer. He has to practice piano for 30 minutes and read for 20 mins and some homework pages his teacher sent home for the summer. Then he has all his home chores. It has been taking him until about 2 in the afternoon. He doesn't complain he just spends a lot of time talking about all he has to do. Cole has a friend that lives two doors down that is a couple of years older than he is but he only lives with his dad durning the summer he is a member of the church. Cole loves it when he comes for the summer they have a good time together.

Our van broke down on Wednesday and we had to pick up a rental car. We couldn't get a very big car we ended up with a medium sized car. I hated it I don't know how you do it Chauntel. Two car seat in a car and all that bending over and then not to mention there is no room for anything else. I can truly say I love my van. The had the van for a week it is nice to have it back but it looks like we may have to take it back in. Dennis just filled the air conditioner up and it is blowing out hot air. So he is coming to look at it tomorrow. So we will see. I hope we don't have to take it in again. This is why we don't keep cars very long. We keep them for a couple of years and trade them in. This is the longest we have kept a car. It will be four years in May. We usually have a car for about 2 years. We usually don't any have to buy tires. Which we had to do on the van this last fall. I really hate having to get a car fix. I feel like you just basically set you money on fire and watch it burn. It seems like everytime you take a car in it cost you twice as much as they thought and then they never really fix the problem or something else goes wrong. O.k.

We went to Spokane with Ryan on Thursday the 15th . We had a good time the kids and I did a lot of swimming. When Ryan was done on Friday we head right home he had to work on Saturday and he worked all day. So the kids and I went out and picked up Ryan's Father's Day gift. We got him an air compressor. Then on Saturday night we had a couple of families over for a BBQ. On Sunday after church we headed back to Spokane and Ryan went to bed early he had to be up at 2 am. Not much of a Father's Day. The kids and I had a good time swimming until Ryan was off work then we head over to Manato park. Boy did that bring back some memories. The kids played on the toys and we went for a walk through the rose garden and the Japanese Garden. We tired to walk through the lilac garden but there weren't any. I don't know but I guess they are not in season?

Tuesday I went to the Church Store house. We need to catch up on our food storage since we have added two kids. I am not sure where we are going to put the rest of the food storage?

Then on Wednesday we went to the Library to pick up some books. We also got some books on tape. Kamden loves to listen to the books on tape at night before bed. I remember loving to go to the Library. I also went to a Mary Kay thing that night it was nice to get out and visit with some other women.

Thursday Ryan had a double header for Softball. The kids did really well considering there bedtime is two hours before we got home. Of course Carter fell asleep in my arms as we were walking back to the car to go home. I love kids they hang on until you are ready to leave and then you have to wake them up to put them in the car.

Friday Ryan was in charge of an elders quorum party. They had a BBQ played volleyball and waterballon softball. There were 25 families there that is a really good turn out. When we were in second ward we would get the elders quorum and maybe one or two other families. Towards the end Kamden decided to start throwing a fit and wouldn't stop so I had to take her and Carter home. It was so nice to be so embarrassed.

Saturday Cole went with his Grandpa Bassett to deliver mail in Prosser and he let him mow his lawn. He was so excited when he got home. Grandpa also got him his own set of tools. We all went to the Church Dance Festival at the Pasco High football Stadium. It was good the kids were really restless but what I saw was good. I also run into Sister Ransaum and I found out she had another baby. WOW!

Sunday we got to talk to my sister Kendall. We don't talk to her very often so that was nice to hear from her. We also had some friend over for homemade ice cream. They stayed until 11 pm Ryan had to be up at 3:30am. What a nice guy!

It was 100 today. The kids hang out in the pool most of the day. The pool as 98 degrees. So Ryan started to drain the pool today and is going to relevel it and clean it. He said it would be ready by tomorrow because it is going to be 104. I don't think the pool is going to be ready. So we bought a slip and slide. I guess summer is final here for us. It was in the 90's the week before memorial weekend. But we haven't had nice weather since then. The news said Portland broke some records today they got up to 101. They were hotter than us that is crazy.

Trying to catch you up on us!

Hey last friday was Cole's last day of school. So on Thursday he had his field day it was a Cowboy theme. It was also my last day to help out for the year. It will be nice to have all the same kids for the most part next year. He will also have the same teacher. He said he would really like to keep going to school. Ryan had another late game on Thursday he didn't get home until 10:30. This week both his games are early 6:30.

Friday I spent all day cleaning the house, mowing and clean up the yard. Cole and Ryan got home early and packed up and went to the Father Son Campout. Ryan took Carter with him. The guys say Ryan has set the record for having the youngest son on a campout. Ryan said Carter loved it but he wouldn't leave Ryan's side. They got home Saturday and they were all extremly dirty. Cole's shoes and pants looked like they were brown not blue. While the boys were off having a good time at the father son outing Kamden had a performance. Her Tap/Ballet teacher wanted them all at her studio at 5 pm to practice. Then we all went over to the Richland Highschool and were there from 7 to 8. We were asked to stay until the end which was 9 but Kamden hadn't had a nap and it was past her bedtime so we went home early. But she did a great job and had fun. They dressed them in a really cute mini mouse outfit. They do a number called Mickey Mouses Birthday.

On Saturday I was busy making baby quilts. I ran out we have so many new babies in our ward. Every once in a while I make up a few so I don't have to do that last minute. I had a baby shower on Saturday and Kamden had a birthday party. Then that night we all went and saw CARS. It was so cute. I liked it alot better then over the hedge.

Yesterday we tried to get some friends to come over for a BBQ but I guess no one wanted to eat with us.j/k So we just had a family BBQ and then had some friends over for ice cream last night. It took the ice cream 2 hours. So they were over pretty late.

Today we were all trying to get our summer schedule down. Cole is going to be very busy this summer. Today went well with the schedule we will see how it works out. Once we start going out of town I am not to sure. We are all going with Ryan out of town Wed,Thur,Friday to Spokane. We will play while he works. The kids love playing in the pool and staying in the Motel. So it should be a fun week. Kamden has her Tap/Ballet pictures in her custome. Tonight we are having the sister missionairs over. They called and said they felt like they should knock on the doors of some of our neighbors and would like to come and visit with us about who that might be. We aren't sure since we don't know any of your neighbors except the members and the neighbor right next to us. So I hope that find what they are looking for.

Cute Tap/Ballet Customes

Well, I spent all morning trying to get something posted and I couldn't. Then I get on tonight to try again and what do I find Chauntel has posted. My website said they were down all day when I tried to post. What is up with that! I was going to say how I thought I was doing bad but that I felt a little better because my sisters hadn't post in a long time. But now that doesn't work I guess. I was glad to hear Chauntel got some good or maybe I should just say some news on what will be happening to Jackson. I had been wondering since her last posting. So please remember Jackson and his family in your prayers. We love you guys.

Saturday Ryan and I decided to go to the temple we went to a 7am session what a silly thing that was. That meant I was up at 4:30am and the kids were up at 5:30. So everyone was tired for the pictures I had schedule at 11am. Every year we go get the old navy 4th of july t-shirts and have family pictures taken. It took them 50 mins to get to us in to our appointmen the kids ended up being very good. The girl only got one good picture of us out of the 6 she took. Ryan said a few times that his eyes were closed and she said no they were o.k. When we went to look at the pictures sure enough his eyes were closed. Anyway I guess it was o.k. we got at least one I was hoping for more to chose from. We all got to takes napes after the pictures. Some of us took longer naps than the others. We had a BBQ and played a few games with the kids it was a great ending to a busy morning.

My kids have been rotating throwing up it started on Thursday night and I hope has ended with Cole yesterday. I had to stay home for the second week in a row. Ryan goes to Sacrament with the kids then comes home and I go back to sit with my primary class and teach. I am hoping they are all feeling better by next sunday. All though Ryan has said the last two weeks that the kids were really good for him. So maybe mom should stay home every week.j/k

Monday we went to work with Ryan he had to look at few jobs out of town. The kids did really well driving around all day. When we got home Ryan watched Kamden and took her to tap/ballet for me so I could go grocery shopping. I think that was really nice of him. He got to be with all the moms doing shoe change and trying to figure out what hair do all the girls were going to wear for fridays preformance. What a dad!

Tuesday Cole stayed home from school but I took him to his first panio lesson. I didn't want him to miss his first lesson and he didn't either. He wasn't throwing up and I had him wash his hands before he went in. I know proably not right. Last night they had the police department come out and talk to the parents of Cole's school. They have had two lock downs in the last 2 months. They went over proceedures with us and told us it will be something they will be practicing like fire drills so they become second nature to them. I don't know about you but that just seems really wrong. I am glad though that they are preparing and learning to be safer. I think it really scared Cole. Ryan had a game last night at 9pm I don't know about you but doesn't that seem to late to be playing ball when you have to get up in the morning at 3am. Glad it was him and not me.

Today as I told you I spent most of the morning trying to get a posting put up. This afternoon Ryan and I went to the Temple. We are going to try and go once a week. We will see if we can keep it up with all the busy schedules and babysitters(grandma's). Thank you mom and Melanie! It is nice to be going I hope it will get to be a routine. I love the peace and the time I get to spend with Ryan.

Custome for Tap/Ballet!

I keep thinking I am doing such a bad job of posting but my sisters are doing much worse than I am so I guess I am not so bad.j/k Anyway I haven't posted for a few days because I couldn't find our camera to upload and take pictures. The one of Carter was taken a couple of days ago. The one of Kamden was taken today.

Last Saturday Ryan and I went to the Temple at 7 am oh boy. I wasn't thinking! I had to get up at 4:40 so we could be there on time. Plus the kids were up at 5:30 so they were tired when we had our family 4th of July pictures taken. Every year we get the Old Navy t-shirts and get pictures done. Anyway that was really fun we had to wait 50 minutes to get them done the kids did well though. But the lady taking the pictures only got one good picture of all of us. I was a little disappoint this time with the pictures that there weren't some better ones to choose from. Then when we got home all us took naps we were so tired. All but I guess Cole and some of us took longer naps than others(3 hours). Then we BBQed and watched movies and played some games.

Sunday Carter was sick again and Kamden got sick again on Monday. Then Cole was home yesterday throwing up. Monday the kids and I went with Ryan to work he had to look at some jobs out of town. Then Ryan was really sweet and took Kamden to Tap/Ballet (they got there customes) so I could go grocery shopping with the boys.

Tuesday I spent 4 hours making dinner for our dinner group. I made a chicken salad and cut up watermelon and cantalope. I will never make that for dinner group again to much work. There are to many things to cut up to put in the chicken salad. Cole had his first paino lesson yesterday. He was excited but then he couldn't remember what she had told him to do. So I sat with him and tried to refresh his memory. It was cute he was trying to hard to remember. Last night the police department showed up at Cole's schoool to go over an incident that happened in the neighbor that caused a lock down at the school. How would think that we live in an area that would cause this. They say we are going to see more and more of that happening.

Ryan and I are going to go to the temple agian tonight we are going to try and go every week. We will see how that works out.

Hey, it has been awhile since I have posted. I keep thinking I need to up load pictures and then I get busy. So I will try to catch you up on what we have been up too this last week. Let's see on Monday Cole and Ryan went golfing with my dad. They had a great time. Mom, Kamden, Carter and I went to lunch and went shopping. I got Cole some new tennis shoes of course he hated them so we had to take them back and get new ones. He really wanted some Vans I was hoping I could sway him away from them but I wasn't able to. We took a family walk and then went over to Ryan's parents house and had a BBQ. That is the picture on the bottom of Cole and his cousin Anthony taking Molly, grandpa's dog for a walk.

Tuesday Ryan worked until 7:30 pm. Then I headed over to the church they had a mini class on crocheting. So I can now say I know how to do a chain and a single hook I think that is how you say it. We are supose to be having more classes we are making blankets for a service project.

Wednesday was mine and Ryan's 9th Anniversary. Ryan brought me home flowers and a card. Mom and dad watch the kids so we could go see a movie. We went and saw XMEN it was good. There wasn't much time alone Ryan's phone was ringing off the hook. His Laser Screed drive is quiting Tuesday and they have had quite a few bigger jobs cancel out. So he has been busy trying to find work for now but they are going to be slammed because everything is going to come up at once.

Thursday was busy for me it is the day I go to Cole's class. I came home and put both the kids down for a nap and worked on staining the fence. That is such a big job. We have been working on it forever well it feels like it. Then I quick mowed the lawn while Ryan cleaned out the pool before it started to rain. That is what the other to two pictures are of Ryan and the kids playing football before it rained.

Today is the first day I was able to go running this week. Ryan has been going into work around 3 everyday this week. But finally today he was able to stay home a little later today. Boy it is hard to start running again after not being able to run for 4 days. I was going to finish staining the fence today but it is pooring down rain. Plus Carter is sick today. He has been throwing up this morning. The other two kids are coughing and have runny noses. I just love sick kids are they ever not sick?

Family Together!!!

Hey, lots of family pictures. My sister Bailey was in town this weekend with her son Kooper. Her husband was going to come but the flights didn't work out so she went home early. Kamden, Carter and I picked up Bailey on Friday morning. That Kooper is so cute. He is such a good baby, lucky Bailey. Friday night we did our favorite thing we picked up $5 pizza's, slurpees and movies. Ryan and I rented the first two disc of the 4th season of 24. We realized we have already seen most of the 4th season. We aren't sure where we left off. Saturday we went out to lunch at Applebee's with Bailey and Kooper. After lunch we headed over to watch Over the Hedge. The kids liked it I thought Ice Age 2 was better. Some of us went shopping for a little while after that and then we had a BBQ at Grandma's house. We had home made ice cream I love that stuff. I had to go home after that I was so tired. Ryan and Cole woke me up at 6:30 on a Sat to go running. So I had to go to bed early. After church today we headed over to my mom's to see Bailey before she left and have dinner but she was already gone. No one decided to let us know she was leaving. It was nice to see Bailey and Kooper. Cole has been sick, we have been drag him around for the last couple of days, he has been really good about it.

Yesterday was so nice. It was the first week night in awhile that no one had anything going on. So we went for a family walk. We love to go for walks as a family. Kamden these last few times as started to ride her bike with Cole while mom and dad push Carter in the stroller. It has been cool all week since last Friday. We got the pool up and running and now it has been cold. The kids ask everyday if they can go swimming. I don't think it is going to get warm here at least not until next week.
Today I went to Cole's class they are learning about the rain forest and the animals that you find there. His teacher had them do this cute hat all the kids were wearing them today.
Ryan was so nice to read to Kamden today. I had already read her about 10 books today and she wouldn't stop asking to read some more. And of course Carter and his bat. We are looking forward to Baliey, Mike and Kooper coming to visit us this weekend.

First Day of Piano!!!

Ryan took this oh so cute picture of Carter sleeping. I think it is so cute when they sleep with there little bottoms in the air. The other really cute picture is of course Cole and his panio teacher. He had his first meeting with his panio teacher today. He will start panio lessons the first week in June. We had told him when he turned 8 he could take lessons. We decided to go ahead and start alittle early. Because he will be starting football, boyscouts and 2nd grade all in the month of September. We didn't want him getting overwhelmed. He is pretty excited about playing. So we will see if he stays excited once he has to start practicing. That is usually the test isn't it.

Cole's last game of the season was canceled. Kamden had tap/ballet last night too. You know it is such a nightmare to take her and Carter to tap/ballet. There are so many other babies there and Carter likes to take every other babies toy. And of course he has picked up hitting now from Kamden. Last night Kamden came out with a sucker and Carter loves suckers so the whole time we are trying to change Kamden's shoes and leave he was on the floor throwing the hugest fit. The waitin room is probably 10x20 if that and has chairs and tables in this waiting area. There are 12 girls in the class with at least one parent and some sibling there. Plus you add 12 girls in the next class with there parents and sibling for the next class. It is a zoo!!! I am glad baseball is over so Ryan can keep Carter. I guess to see her laughing and enjoying it so much makes it worth it.

Busy Saturday!

Hey everyone it was another busy Saturday. I was the mom helper for Kamden's performance on Saturday. She preformed at Mayfest which is down at St. Pat's the church across from Kennewick High. They did two dances but they have to stay through the whole performance and do a final bow at the very end so it takes about an hour and a half. Cole had a baseball game. Ryan says the kids seem to be tired of playing baseball. The played the worst team in the league and lost. They are ready to be done Cole has one more game on Monday. Then after Tap/Ballet and Baseball Cole had a birthday party and the other two took naps. Then we headed over to the softball fields over by the trac for an end of the season baseball party. We had a softball field, jump toy, playground toys and the water park. The kids had a great time. As you can see Cole got his trophey from the three coaches. The picture of Carter is so funny. I keep the bats in the garage and everytime we go or come back from somewhere he grabs a bat and carries it around all day long. If Kamden or anyone tries to take it from him he will scream. We had a fun day even though it was busy.

New Glasses!

Isn't she so beautiful! She was so excited we have been checking the mail everyday. They came in the mail today. The are very thick. She loves that she has new sunglasses! She has been wearing swimsuits everyday since we have put up the pool she wants to be out there all the time in the pool. The glasses are pink with stars on the sides of them.

Hot Weather

Wow, it has been hot! On Thursday I went on a class field trip with Cole to the McNary Wildlife Refuge. It was interesting and I think the kids enjoyed it other than the extremly hot weather. It has been in the high 90's all week. We had a good time. I was a little bummed I wasn't in Cole's group the first half of the day. Some of the girls in Cole's class wanted to be in my group so Cole didn't want to be in my group. Anyway we still had lunch together and were together after lunch.

One of the pictures up there is of Cole at lunch the other is some of the class getting ready for a class picture. The last picture is what we have been doing the last two days. We finally got the pool up on Wednesday and went swimming most of the day on Wednesday and then for a couple of hours on Thursday.

Then Cole had baseball practice and Kamden gymnastics. Cole has two more baseball games one on Saturday and one on Monday then he is done. He will start paino the first of June and of course swim lesson in the middle of June. I can't believe school is almost over for the year.

We are hoping Kamden will have her new glasses today or tomorrow. She is so excited. They are transition glasses which means to her they are sunglasses. She love sunglasses the sun is to bright for her. Will try and get some pictures posted of her in her glasses soon.

Mother's Day!

I hope everyone else had a good Mother's Day. Ryan and Cole made me breakfast in bed and Ryan taught my primary lesson so I could go to Relief Soceity. I only last though the first five minutes of the lesson because of Carter. It was still really nice. We got pictures of the kids with there grandma's on Mother's day. The picture of Carter climbing the slide so cute hah. He just started climbing the slide and turning around and coming down all by himself. Wow, I could not believe my eyes. The other picture of him hiding behind Ryan's leg from the bear on the floor. The bear sings and dances. He likes to dance when it makes noise but when Kamden set it down next to him he didn't like that. The last picutre is of Carter kiss dad when he was shaving. He kissed him a few times then he stoped and really looked at him awhile and wouldn't kiss him again and started to cry. We are taking Kamden to Spokane tomorrow to an pedi eye doctor to check her eyes out.

Carter, Carter his our man!

These are old photos. I thought they were cute and haven't taking any pictures in the last couple of days but we have been very busy. We have been walking and rollerblading at night as a family. I have started jogging/walking or rollerblading. I have been twice so far this week but our family has been out 3 times this week for walks and I walk with a friend 3 times a week. So I am feeling a little better, more energy. Anyway Carter had a one year check a month late. He is 26 1/2 pounds that makes him in the 80% and he is in the 75% for height. I thought he was 100% for weight. He just seems so heavy to me. She said to keep giving him whole milk for his brian development. I had started giving him 2% because I thought he was just to big. I am not use to normal sized children. My kids are so tiny weight wise I guess. He needs two get 4 shoots but we are going to do that at the health department much cheaper that way. Cole had practice last night, Kamden had gymnastics and I had Homemaking. Well they did a mini sewing class. Hey I knew more than I thought I did. That was nice to know and I learned a few new things. They are going to try and have more classes. Our ward is also doing a mommy and me in the park on Wednesdays. Our ward really hasn't taken off like some or the other wards in the stake with the new Relief Society Enrichment. Today Cole's school had a family picnic day. We were all excited even dad came. But when we got to the school there was no one in the yard and they asked us to please hurry inside. We thought maybe because it was so windy. They said the school was in lock down. When we got inside it was a zoo. They were sending all the parents and kids to there classes rooms. Cole's class was getting ready to go down and get lunch but they told them to stay in there class room. So there were all this parents and extra kids and the kids from his class sitting in his class room for 35 minutes. Then they finally let the kids go down to get lunch. So we ate in his room and they sent the other kids out to play. They then had a parent meeting . They told the parents that there were men head to the school with guns and they couldn't find them so they opened the school back up. The police opened it earlier but the school waite another 10 minutes. So we bought Cole home. I didn't feel good about leaving him when they hadn't found the men. I was a little upset they just let all the kids out to play and opened up the school. That dosen't seem very safe for the kids. I am just glad I was there when this was going on. They had a simliar situation about two weekends ago but they caught them. It was on the weekend. The funny thing is we and the school are in a nice area? Hope everyone has a great weekend.
