Boating Finally!

I was told not to ride on the back of the boat. Ryan promised no bums and to drive straight. That is why I am riding with Carter. I still enjoy boating but I really wish I could enjoy the ride on the back of the boat. Hopefully some day again.

Ryan wake boarding even with all the logs and limbs in the water and 55 degree water.

The second day we went with Cole's friend and Bret and his new family. Here is Ryan, Cole and Uncle Bret.

We have spent the last two day boating finally. This is one of Carter's favorite things to do on the boat. Listen to the music.

O.k. I forgot to take pictures of Kamden in her dance outfits but I got a couple of her hair. Maybe in a few weeks I will get some of her in her custom es.

So I thought this week was going to be a little slower paced but it didn't seems to happen that way. Everyday I had a little something to write and was to tired by the end of the day to blog. So I finally have a minute so I am blogging.

Monday Cole was still throwing up and not feeling well. So I spent the day cleaning the house. Ryan came home and thought we all needed to go see Incredible Hulk. So even though Cole wasn't feeling well. Cole just all the sudden was feeling o.k. Kamden and Carter fell asleep during the movie. Thank goodness. I thought it was a good movie just not for Kamden and Carter.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Cole had Scout Camp. Sinice Cole was sick I made him stay home on Tuesday. So we went and tried to pass off some scout things. We went and had a picnic in the park then we played disc golf. Cole loved it and Kamden enjoyed it too. Carter not so much. Then we headed over to the toys but Kamden wasn't behaving so we headed home. I also picked up some fabric at Joanne's for some baby blankets. Fabric was 1/2 for flannel.

Wednesday Cole went to Scout camp and I had an MRI and a echocardogram (SP). So Kamden and Carter hang out with mom and Kendall. Kamden stayed the night at mom's on Wednesday night. Ryan, Cole, Carter and I rode the bus to golf. We showed Cole had to ride the city bus. We also got him a phone and a bus pass. We are hoping to teach him some responsiblity. If he loses either one no golf this summer. Cole loses everything. He just doesn't pay attention and loses everything.

Thursday Cole rode the bus to golf. He did awsome I followed him. He got off where he was supouse to and he got home. I had Herceptin and Zometa in the morning. So mom and Kendall watched Kamden and Carter again. I was able to get the Herceptin and still make it to the church on time for Scout camp. I went to Scout Camp with Cole on Thursday afternoon. We went from 1pm to 6:30. Then Ryan came out with the kids and we had dinner together.

Friday Ryan got up and went to work at 2 am and then came home and said lets go boating. I couldn't believe it. I think it was because we hadn't had the boat out once yet this year. The water is still really cold and there is lots of things floating in the water still. So we went boating for a couple of hours an then went grocery shopping.

Saturday we went boating most of the day. Yah summer is here. The water just isn't warm enough yet. We went with Bret and his new family. We had a good time. We come in just before the weather got bad (rain and wind). Cole also had a birthday party at 6:30. We are all so tired. So I am off to bed.

Again another long blog. I am getting better. I thought about it every day I just didn't feel up to it. Maybe next week a little everyday.

Baseball, Dance Recital and more!

This is my problem almost every time I post. It has been so long because I have been so busy. But because we have been so busy a lot has happened. So there is a lot to post about. I know I am one that gives to much info. I am not good with words and I write to much info. But I keep reminding myself this is more of a journal so I will want to know this information and be able to remember later. It is also for updating family not here so I guess the journal wins out. Which means you get to much info. I wish I could be more of a daily blogger. Then the blogs would be short and sweet. A little everyday sound much better than a lot to read once in a while. Anyway I am still working on that.

The first week in June was busy. Cole's team took 6th in the tournament. They did so good. We are so proud of Cole and how hard he worked this year. He did so well at whatever the coaches asked of him. He had games and practice every night of that week but Friday. So Friday Cole had a friend over for a couple of days. We watched the Indian Jones movies, played baseball, watched Congfu Panda, played cards, went to grandma Bassett's to see great grandma Bassett. The boys had a fun few days. Cole has also been busy this week even with baseball over. Cole had his last week of school. His last day was Thursday. He passed the third grade and will be in fourth next year. I can't even believe he is almost 10 and will be in the fourth grade. I had a friend tell me that the end of next year is when the boys turn into little monsters. I am hoping my little angle will not do that. He is such an obedient kid and so loving to his mom. I hope he stays that way forever. I know that probably wont happen. A mom and hope can't she.

Kamden has also been busy. She had her preschool graduation last week and her last week of preschool. She has learned so much these last two years. Her teachers have done a great job of teaching her what she needs to know to be ready for kindergarten. The kids sang three songs at graduation and you could hear her above the other kids. She loves to sing! Kamden also enjoyed a birthday party on Saturday. She was just glad to not have to go to one more baseball game of Cole's.

Carter is doing such a good job with his potty training. I say he is potty trained. He is also getting so good at riding his bike and his sisters.

Last Sunday Ryan stayed home because he had be up all night throwing up and also having it come out the other end. He was sick for about 2 days.

Then on Monday we had great grandma and grandpa Bassett over for dinner and to go bowling for FHE. We had a great dinner and went bowling where Carter throw up twice. He spent the night in on our bathroom floor. He didn't feel good the next day but didn't throw up.

Tuesday everyone was feeling better but it was pouring down rain and so Ryan had no work. We spent all after noon at Dennis and Melanie's playing cards with grandma and grandpa.

Wednesday we spent all evening at Kamden's Dance Recital Dress Rehearsal. We were there until 9:45. Great Grandma and Grandpa and Melanie came to watch.

Thursday I went to the church storehouse and finished up our food storage. We are pretty much done. I can always find more things to can. But we are done with all the essentials. When Cole was 2 I did almost all our food storage.

Then on Friday night Kamden and Cole both throw up. The boys went camp to the stake Father and Sons. They had a great time. Kamden had her recital. So a friend of mine and Kamden and I went out to dinner and to watch Kamden and then out for ice cream. We didn't get home until 11 and we didn't get to bed until 2am. So we slept in a little on Saturday.

Then I spent most of the morning cleaning up all of Kamden's throw up all over the house. Saturday night we went to watch Kamden preform again. Grandma Schultz, Kendall the twins and Ryan and the boys all came. Kadmen did well. When we went to leave we were out of the auditorium but not quite out the door and Kamden throw up again. So I had a nice mess to clean up of the carpet there at Richland's auditorium.

I had a Doctor's visit on Wednesday and one with Dr. Kris on Thrusday. I am trying to decided what to say. I will post sometime soon about the visits on the other site. The good news is the cancer is gone. They are just going to do an MRI on Wednesday to make sure. There is a spot they are not sure about.

Busy Close to the school year.

We have had and will have a busy next few weeks. I think it is because everything is coming to an end. Kamden finished up her t-ball the Wenesday before Memorial Day. She loved playing baseball and has asked to play soccer again. We will see. She missed her end of the season party we were out of town. She was a little sad but glad to see the trophy she had gotten. Dance for Kamden is coming to an end. On Saturday we spent a few hours at Richland High School they were practicing for the recital on the 13th and 14th. Her new dance class only does one big preformance at the end of the year. That is the only thing I really don't like about this place is they don't get to preform more than the once. She is excited to get up on stage with her custome on. She has a few more practices until the big two nights. So she is almost done but still has some practices which add to the busyness.

Cole has been a little busy. He has been having scouts and piano along with all of his baseball practices and games. Cole had his last game of regular season on Saturday. They were in 7th place out of 14 teams I think. Not bad but the funny thing is they beat the better teams and lost to some of the not so good teams. Anyway yesterday (Monday) they started their tournament so we will see how they do. They won last night so they play again Wednesday night,Friday and Saturday and he has practice Tuesday and Thursday. Cole played catcher the whole game. He is the best catcher they have. He loves it but he also loves some of the other postitions. So he was a little sad to not be able to play them. He does so good at catcher but he is not really built to be a catcher. Ryan would like to see him play first or third. He does play there once in a while but mostly pitcher and catcher. Cole's team doesn't have alot of really good players so he and a few of the kids try to cover everything. You really need 9 good baseball players to make a good team. We asked Cole if he wanted to play football or soccer this fall which actually starts in August. We reminded him is he plays that will cut out boating. He decided that he didn't want to play either he wants to boat. So we are goin to have 6 months or very close to six months of no sports. Wow we haven't had that in a very long time. I love watching the kids play sports but it will be a nice break. Kamden will still have dance that starts in Septemeber. But wow a break.

Carter I don't know if I have already posted this but he is potty trained. We put a diaper on him at night just in case. Most nights he doesn't wet but once in a while he does. He and Kamden had a good time at the ball game last night. Carter pulled down his pants and peed out in the grass Then Kamden was running and her skirt fell down and then she came over to me and showed me how it fell down. One of those moments that are embressing but funny when they aren't your children.

Memorial Weekend

We had a fun weekend together like always. We enjoyed eachothers company on Friday for our traditional pizza and movie Friday. I only watched one moive I was feeling under the weather. We I should say Kamden and I slept in until 8:30. We spent the morning picking up the house and doing yard work. When we were done in the late afternoon we finally got Kamden's glasses fixed. They got broken the week we left for vacation. Then we went and show Indian Jones with Dennis and Melanie. We all loved it. I was a little disappointed with the the special effects. Ryan and I thought they were like the oldder movies when it came to the special effects and the sound cut out. I am not saying it isn't worth seeing because it is it was still very good. Sunday like always was a very relaxing day. We spent the morning being uplifted and the afternoon enjoying family. Mom and Dad had a BBQ and everyone was there but Tre and Alexis who lives here anyway. Monday was not stop going, going going. I got up early and bought a few groceries for our BBQ we had. Then spent a few hours preparing the food for the BBQ. We all except Kamden joined Grandpa Bassett for golf down at Coulmbia Park. Kamden went over to grandma's house and planted flowers. She had such a good time with grandma she didn't want to come with us after golf to see Narnia her favortie movie. So she said and enjoyed Hairspray and The chipmunks with grandma and grandpa. Ryan the boys and I enjoyed Narnia. It was really good. Someone said it wasn't as good as the first but I thought it was just as good. After the movies we head back over to the house for a BBQ. We invited both families and the Belliston's. Just mom, dad, Kendall and the Belliston's came. We had a good time or maybe I should say all the kids had a great time. That would include one very big kid. We bought a new water slide that they all enjoyed.

Disney

Well I know you all know we took a weeks vacation to Disney last week. We got tickets for $19.00 one way to Las Vegas and got a rental car their and went on to Anaheim. We just couldn't pass that up. It was a nice break from all things cancer. We spent the first three days at Disney and California adventure. The last day of the first three (Friday)we spent with Mike and Bailey at Disneyland. The kids were all so good it was so hot and busier than the first two days. Cole was so good, Kamden didn't want to walk so she rode in the stroller and Carter didn't like the scary rides as he called almost all of the rides. Since he didn't cry we took him anyway and he did so good and loves to watch the video of the rides we took.

Saturday we went to Sea World we were there when it opened and left when it closed. We saw all the shows but didn't get to see all the exhibits. I have to say it was one of my favorites. We also saw the San Diego Temple. I love that temple it is so Beautiful.

Sunday was a relaxing day for the most part we spent a few hours in the pool in the morning and went to an Angles/Dodgers game with everyone even Mike and Bailey. It was fun but very hot and to many drunk people. The 8th inning there was alot of swearing and fighting. I took the opportunity to hopefully teach Cole why we don't drink. Then we spent a few more hours in the pool followed up by a great dinner at the cheese cake factory.

Monday we went to Universal another very hot day and spent all day running from one show to another. We didn't even have time for lunch or to see all the shows and rides. We still had a great time. After our long day we had a great time at a Pirate dinner and show. It was a great end to a very fun week.

Tuesday we traveled back to Las Vegas where it was 114 the day before and 101 by 11 am. We did a little shopping at the outlet mall and then headed for what we thought would be a busy airport but wasn't bad. Carter and Kamden both slept on the plane ride home. They did so good they both took naps just about everyday in the stroller. Not as good as Cole when he was 2 and 3 but still not bad.

Scarfs

O.k. so I am posting these pictures of Kamden and I with these scarfs I made this morning. So what I want to know is if you like them on me. They are so cute on Kamden. But I want to know if they look o.k. on me before I make all these scrafs up. I thought they looked so cute when I saw them. They do but I think they look cute on someone with hair. I am having a hard time finding something I like for me no hair person that will be good this summer. Every summer hat I try on is to big and stocking caps which I prefer are to hot. I have been wearing the baseball hat which are o.k. But I still look like a cancer patient and they itch after awhile. So does anyone have a suggestion.

Nice Weekend!

We had a nice weekend. We attended a reception on Friday night. It was my visiting teachers daughter. We hang out and enjoyed seeing friends. We didn't do our pizza/movie Friday because we didn't get home until 9.

On Saturday Kamden and Cole both had their games at 9am. So we were up early to head over to their games. After their games we went to watch Kendall and Dad paint the trim on the house. j/k We actually went over to drop off a rocking chair Ryan picked up from some friends that were getting rid of it. While we were there they were painting so we hang out a bit and watched them and visited.

After that we run over to Costco to pick up tickets for our Disneyland trip. Oops didn't you know we are going to Disneyland. On Friday I found tickets from Pasco to Las Vegas for $19.00 a piece so we went ahead and booked a flight May 13th - 20th. We are all so excited. We were going to go in October. But with my numbers going up again we figured I would be on chemo again for a while and who knew if we would be able to go in October. So now while I am on break sounded like a good time to go. Especially since the tickets were so cheap.

When we go to Costco we always seem to end up picking up more stuff than we set out to buy. It is always just one or two things and then you end up with a full cart and a couple of hundred of dollars later.

After Costco the kids wanted to go to the skate park. Ryan had never been he thought it was or is a really nice skate park. The kids enjoyed themselves and it was really nice weather. We have only had a few good days of weather so far this spring.

Then we did our movie Friday on Saturday. Carter has been enjoying the Mickey Mouse Show. I think they are the ones that are on the Disney Chanel. Of course Kamden pick out Strawberry Shortcake. She always picks out something girl. And of course Cole always picks out an animal(usually dog) movie. The kids love having a camp out on the family room floor. Cole tried to get us to let them have their campout outside this weekend. He thinks it is warm enough to sleep outside. Not quite!

Yesterday I got some great news from the doctor read on the other blog.

Today I went in for my Herceptin. Herceptin is the drug that seeks out the HER2 NEU cell and kills it. So it decrease my risk of the cancer returning by %50. This drug is given to me through my port. I will probably get this every three weeks and it take about an 1 1/2 to 2 hours. They will add another drug to this when we are for sure done with chemo. So for today just Herceptin and some premeds. One of the premeds is Benydryl which of course makes my very tired for a while. Bailey was so sweet and went with me today because Ryan couldn't get off work. I enjoyed so much visiting with Bailey. I am so excited for everyone to be here for Jillian's wedding. I am sad that Mike, Jeremy and Issac couldn't come but I understand and am glad for those that can come.

Extended Family Update!

Last night mom and I went to a funeral for Dustin Kauer's (our cousin) still born baby girl. It was so fun to see some of the family. Of course we saw Dustin and his family and we also saw Angie his sister and Jennifer Caudle and her family. Aunt Donna's daughter Lynette and her husband were also there. So it was nice to be able to see them and visit. I just found out last Friday from a friend that Jennifer has Breast cancer. So I emailed Stephanie and she confimed it and then we run into her last night. She told us about what she is doing and how she is. I guess it is a small lump and they are waiting for DSHS or her husband to get a job and to have insurance. She is going to have a hestorectomy next month and then 6 weeks later she is going to have a lumpectomy. She sounds in good spirits. It does make you wonder if it is genetic. Ryan was so kind and took Kamden to her practice so I could go with mom.

Ryan and I started our deits on Sunday. So far so good. I am on the deit that Dr. Kris put me on in Septemeber. I am not super stict with it but close. Ryan with his close to boarder line diabets and heart stuff is doing a deit that is very close to mine. %70 fresh fruits and veggies but he can have $30 protein eggs, milk products which I can't have. So we are trying to be healthier. It has been not to bad I found some crackers that we can both have. That helps!!

Not Baseball Weather!!

Kamden and Cole had their first Saturday Baseball games. Cole had his game at 9am this morning so we were there at 8:30. It felt like it was in the 30's I am sure it was warmer. The wind was blowing and we were down by the river so it felt even colder out. Carter was crying that it was to cold and he wanted to go to the car. So I put him and Kamden in the car for a while to keep warm. I have to say it is not baseball weather. I hear it is snowing all around us even as close as Paterson (which is about 20 minutes or so away. Anyway it was Cole. Cole had so much fun he pitched his first game ever and loved it. He isn't a main pitcher but will pitch some this year. He also got nailed in the face with a pitch while he was up at bat. He has a nice big bruise on his check. Luckily it nicked the helmet first and so it didn't hit his check bone. I was afraid he would be afraid to jump back in and bat the next time around but he did great.

Kamden played right after Cole ,well she start just before Cole was done but on the field right next to Cole. So that was great I could watch both of them today. Kamden loves playing t-ball. She was all smiles the whole time she couldn't stop. Ryan said why isn't she always like this? I said we just need to keep her busy and she is happy. When she is sitting and not on the go she gets an attitude. I am not sure I could keep up with all the activity she needs. It didn't warm up it was still very cold when we left at 12pm.

Kamden had a birthday party today so while we were waiting we went to a boat show. The show also had trailers for sale. I wanted to look at a tent trailer. Last year you could get a basic tent trailer for about $4,000. I thought maybe we could get one next year with our tax return. Well surprise surprise they start at about $8,000. We only paid $16,000. for the trailer we had and some of the nicer tent trailers were $14,000. Not much of a price difference. So maybe a used or maybe a tent will just have to do. With the price of gas I would think they would be giving them away I guess not.

In Spanish

Well I had a Dr. Kris appointment. I updated the information on the other blog. I was just thinking about something Kamden said a few weeks ago that I thought was cute. She wrote on a piece of paper and then handed it to Melanie. Melanie said, "Kamden what does this say." Kamden said, "I don't know grandma it is in Spanish." I think kids say the cutest things. I am just not very good at remembering all those cute things they say. We don't say movies at our house any more or Kamden. We call her Nammie and Movies Ohmeies. This is thanks to Carter. I know we should be correcting him and helping him say it right. It is so cute when he says this we just all seem to say it this way.

Cole had his first game last night. Ryan said the team did so good. He said our team out hit the other team but they bet us because of our pitching. I guess that didn't matter because the other team didn't play by the rules that go with pitching so they had to forfeit. I say Ryan said because I didn't do I very good job of watching. Kendall was there with the babies, Kamden and Carter were both crying and very active and a friend came and sat by us a while. I try to pay attention but I get busy and then I am not. To top it off it was almost 2 1/2 hours. Can you believe on a school night they let them go until 8pm. My kids are usually in bed by eight so this for me is to late to let the kids stay up playing ball.

Check out my Slide Show!

Oh, I thought I had told about the last two days of spring break but it looks like I only got pictures up.

Friday we got some grocery shopping done before we headed out to go on a hike with some friends the Knight's. I was amazed she(Wendy Knight) got all of her kids to go even her 15 year old. Her oldest was wearing flip flops but hay she was there. Anyway we went down to Zintal(sp) Canyon. We hiked from 27th down to 4th and back we had a good time. As you can see in the pictures we found a rope swing and a few other fun things and then hung out at the toys in the park for a little while before we headed back to the cars. Carter was such trooper he walked the whole way. He didn't once stop to ask me to carry him. After our hike we went home and packed up to go camping.

We went to Charbenau(Sp) to camp. There were only 3 spots left. I guess there were a few people that had the same idea. We got a new tent. Out other tent sleeps 3. That work last summer when Ryan took them once and then I took them once. It doesn't work so good with both adults and three kids. So we thought about trying to steal mom and dad's from them but it is so hard to but up and take down. The new one is really easy to put up and take down. We also had to get 3 new sleeping bags. We had a mice problem in the garage luckily not in the house. Anyway they chewed 2 of the sleeping bags and Carter needed one. We had dinner set up camp and then the kids and Ryan went out on the canoe for a quick trip. Ryan then built us a fire. It was a nice day but it got really cold that night. Everyone stayed warm through the night thank goodness. That is the thing I hate most about camping is getting cold.

Ryan woke up at 6 am thanks honey. There were trains going by for a while through the night and I also had a sun burn on my head that kept me up for most of the night. So it was so kind of him to wake up so early. He got up and made a fire and got breakfast started. It was so cold. We cooked bacon and eggs and the propane tank froze twice. We had to switch the tanks out. After we had breakfast we went out on the canoe again. Thank goodness there weren't any boats out. I am not sure we would have made it back. The kids loved it well adventually they all enjoyed it. Carter had a screaming fit and didn't want to go but once he was in the canoe he loved it. He did a pout face for a while and then decided it was o.k. and helped Ryan row the canoe. We also enjoyed a short walk mom was to tired to to any thing to long. We then made lunch, packed up,came home and cleaned up then headed out for a bike ride over in Richland. I couldn't do to much before I got tired but we got a 5 mile ride in for Cole to pass off for scouts. I think Ryan was really glad I couldn't do much more I think his behind had it too. We then went home vegged out and watched movies. I took a good nap and then went to bed. I think the week had caught up to me.

I have to say that I lived in the moment and in each day. I enjoyed playing and spending time with the kids and Ryan when he could be there. I usually can't wait for the next day or the next thing but I really enjoyed each day or new adventure. I have to say I was looking forward to school starting again so I could rest but that hasn't worked out. But I am so thankful for the opportunity we had to enjoy our spring break together.

Wed/Thurs Spring Break for the Bassett's

Wednesday was another fun filled day for Spring Break. We had over to Ice Harbor Dam. We went there last spring break and the kids enjoyed it so we decided to do it again. This year we didn't see very many fish. I think we show 4 fish. So we will probably go again later in the year so we can see some more fish. I can't believe how big the fish are that go through there. After the dam we headed over to the skate park over in Richland. Usually only Cole goes and rides while we sit in the car and wait. But all the kids have new scooters so we all went. Carter went down his first hill by him self and so did Kamden. Kamden did better than I thought she would. And of course Cole had a blast he loves all the kids and riding around. We saw some friends there. So Kamden and her friend slid down the skate bowls and we pulled them out. Carter slide down a little ramp I would never have been able to get him out of the bowl. After the skate park we went to Play Ground of Dreams so the little kids could play on the toys. While the two younger kids did that Cole headed over to the skate park that was right next to the play ground. Then we headed home for dinner.

While at home Ryan called and asked if we wanted to go to Spokane with him. So we went and picked up some movies from blockbuster and headed up to Spokane at 8 pm. We watched movies and rode up with Ryan. When we got there he had to fix two doors at a Lowe's they had done. That took an hour and then we headed back home. Carter slept the whole way. Kamden watched her movie and then fell alseep. Cole watched three movies and made it until we were about 20 minutes away from home. We got home at 1 pm or so. Ryan doesn't do so well driving when he is tired. So it was a good thing we went with him he was tired.

Thursday we got up nice and early to get ready to go over to Flora's and visit. The kids have been up nice and early every day this vacation. Cole always says to me on a school day why can't I sleep a little longer. Then on the weekends or vacation he is up at 7 am. He is usually up at 6:30 so he really isn't sleeping in much. Neither are the other kids. Anyway we went over to Flora's for a couple of hours and then headed over to mom's to look up the movies. We hang out for a little while. While Dad was taping up windows for a guy to come and paint their house. After mom and dad's we headed over to the skate park by the police station in Kennewick for just a little bit before the movie started. The then went and saw Horton Here's a Who.

I am so glad there was no chemo this week. It think the kids have had a good week so far. They have kept me very busy this week.

Mon/Tues of Spring Break

So here are some pictures from Tuesday we didn't get any from Monday.

Monday I had a doctors appointment which I updated about on the other blog. After the appointment we went to see Nim's Island with the kids. Mom, Dad, Kendall and the boys came with us. It was a really cute movie. I even laughed out loud.

Tuesday we went down to Walla Walla to pass off a few things for Cole's scouts. On the way down Ryan called and said he was in Walla Walla so we meet him for lunch at McDonald's. The kids were having a good time playing together on the toy when a very (nice) McDonald's worker came out and said Cole couldn't be on the toy. So are enjoyable time came to an end there. I think it is funny that a 9 year old boy can't play on the toys at McDonald's. Who are the toys for? Anyway Ryan went back to work and we headed over to Pioneer park. The kids had a good time playing on the toys and having mom take pictures of all the cool things they could do on the toys. That's why there are so many pictures. We then headed over to the aviary there in the park. After the birds the kids feed the ducks. While we were feeding the ducks the seagulls kept eating or snatching up the bread before the ducks could eat it. Then the squirrel also showed up to have there fill of the bread too. I didn't even know that squirrels ate bread. Cole could almost feed them out of his hands. We then spent a few minute blowing bubbles. I don't even know if it lasted that long. Long enough to get pictures. The kids then rode there scooters around the park and they finished up with playing a little baseball or fetch the balls that Cole was hitting.

After we finished at the park the kids and I picked up Ryan and we went to the Whitman Mission. Ryan and I both remember going there as kids but we didn't remember anything about it. Ryan and I enjoyed learning some new things. The kids had fun running around I am not so sure about the learning part. It was something Cole needed to do to pass off for Scouts. We tried to make it home in time to go to Ice Harbor Dam with Ryan but it was 6 pm before we got back. We have gone a few times but Ryan has never gone with us. Maybe next time.
